Saffron Walden Netball Club (originally Saffron Ladies) was started in 1994 by a group of ladies who had enjoyed netball at school. As well as being a great game, it was also a way of keeping fit and meeting new people.

A committee now runs the club, reflecting the expanding interests of the members and caters for those who want to play for enjoyment, as well as those who choose to play competitively.

We are affiliated to England Netball (via Hertfordshire County) and we have had a team in the Bishop's Stortford & District Netball League since 1998.

We also run a Junior Club for school years 3 to 9.

Club night is held on Mondays at Dame Johanne Bradbury's Sport Hall, starting with the Juniors from 5.15 p.m. All abilities are welcome, even if you haven't played for years!
