BACK TO NETBALL SESSION - 1st September 2008

If your interested in playing netball, but haven't played for years or are completely new and unsure about the rules or how to play, this session is for you. Lorraine will be running a two hour session from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m. The session will cover all the basic skills - throwing, catching and footwork - together with positioning, basic defending and attacking skills. The fee for the session will be £10. You will need to wear comfortable clothing and trainers, all jewellery is to be removed (wedding rings may be taped) and nails need to be short and rounded. We can still accomodate a few more players in our 2nd team for the 2008/2009 season. If you are interested in playing competitively, then nows your chance! Come to our club night and get practicing.

New rules come in this season in line with England Netball.

AIMING FOR CAPS

We are currently working towards the Club Action Planning Scheme (CAPS). By working through this scheme it will assist the development of the club in providing the best quality service for our members by creating an appropriate qualified 'work force' of coaches, umpires and administrators. Accreditation signifies that parents/carers and players may expect the club to have minimum standards for the playing of Netball.

We are presently working towards the Bronze Award.
